The architectural complex of S. Agostino, formed by the church, two cloisters and by the actual monastery, was founded by the hermits in the 13th century.
The church presents an extraordinary Medieval façade, in which harmoniously blended elements of Gothic style (the great lateral windows) and Romanic (the round portal, the use of sandstone) are present. The interior of the church has maintained the single nave structure, typical of the Longobard style. Thanks to a recent restoration the ruins of frescoes made in the 1300's and that once entirely covered the vaults and walls are now visible. Noteworthy is also the wooden ceiling, of the 15th century, decorated with half bust figures.
