Riserva Naturale Regionale Piramidi di Zone

The vast morainic deposit that gives origin to the Pyramid of Zone was left by the enormous glacier that filled that basin which today is lake Iseo. The pyramods originated from the erosion of this particular morainic terrain by atmospheric agens and from the protection offered by the large rocks that function as hats for the columns of earth that form under them duye to erosion.
