Mandello del Lario, Museum of Moto Guzzi
The museum is located inside the historic building where the myth of Moto Guzzi began way back in 1921, the plant where the Aquila of Mandello is still produced. Historical, technical and cultural heritage, the museum shows a rich collection of over 150 pieces of motorcycle, sports bikes, prototypes and experimental engines, presenting a path through time, witness of one of the glorious and timeless Italian myth, appreciated worldwide. The museum gathers the first motorcycle built by Carlo Guzzi in 1919, the only signed GP (Guzzi-Parodi), next to copies among the most celebrated all around the world, as the extraordinary 8-cylinder 500 of 1957, designed by the genius of Giulio Cesare Carcano. To complete the visit of the museum "The sound of passion", movies which trace the interesting history of Moto Guzzi.
