Mantova, House of Andrea Mantegna
Among the great Renaissance artist’s dwellings in Mantua, the one named after him stands out as a peculiar example of civil architecture of the Renaissance. Since the Province administration of Mantua bought it, the house has become a lively art centre and hosted temporary exhibitions, supported by documentation and research activities in the eight rooms on the ground and main floor, where the aim is to collect and preserve objects and documents on the evolution of Mantua’s art.
