Spinosa
The village of Spinosa - located in the municipality of Porto Mantovano, a few kilometres north of Mantua – hosts an important 16th-century complex, once the summer mansion of the Gonzaga family. Its structure, attributed by some to architect Giulio Romano, is a typical example of the architecture of the Gonzaga times, a synthesis of classical and country styles.
