Virgilio, Natural Preserve of the Vallazza

Territory located between the municipalities of Mantua and Virgilio, characterised by recent clay and muddy alluvial deposits. Such sediments underwent extraction activities for a long period of time, which led to the formation of numerous stretches of water. Such sites led to the formation of wet areas that are valuable from a naturalistic point of view. The Managing Body is the Parco del Mincio.
