Inaugurated in 1953, the Museum of Science and Technology occupies an area of 40,000 square metres. The sections are: Horology; Acoustic physics; Musical Instruments; Computers: Linear Measures; Telecommunications: Electrophysics; Optic Physics: Radio and TV; Astronomy; Automation; Instrumentation: First Engines; Metallurgic Foundry; Medals and Coinage; Land Transport; Rail, Maritime and Air Transport; Textiles. The Leonardo Gallery is of particular interest, as it offers a rich documentation of the works of Leonardo the scientist, technician, inventor and nature expert.
